Most questions have a quick answer below. If yours does not, write to us.
Write to us
Email sproutgardensupport@gmail.com. We read every message and reply as soon as we can. It helps if you tell us which iPhone and iOS version you have and what you were doing when something went wrong. You never need to send us your garden or any payment details.
Cancel Sprout Pro
Sprout Pro subscriptions are managed by Apple, so you cancel with Apple, any time. Pick whichever is easiest:
- On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, choose Sprout, then tap Cancel Subscription.
- Or open the App Store, tap your profile picture, then tap Subscriptions.
- Or in Sprout, open Settings and tap Manage on the "Sprout Pro · active" row at the top, which opens the same Apple screen.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, so the next period is not charged. If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged. The Lifetime purchase is one payment, so there is nothing to cancel. When Pro ends, nothing you grew or bought is deleted: three habits keep growing, and the others rest in the Hall of habits with every check-in kept.
Restore your purchase
New iPhone, reinstalled Sprout, or Pro looks missing? Use the same Apple Account (Apple ID) that bought it.
- Open Sprout and go to Settings.
- Tap the Sprout Pro row at the top (it says "Sprout Pro", or "Pro has ended"). It opens the Sprout Pro page.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Restore purchases.
Sprout will say "Sprout Pro is back. Welcome home." If it says no purchase was found for this Apple Account, you are most likely signed in with a different Apple Account than the one that bought Pro. You can check in the iPhone Settings app, under your name at the top. Still stuck? Write to us.
Refunds
Billing is handled by Apple, so refund requests go to Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in, choose the purchase and tell Apple what went wrong. We cannot refund a purchase ourselves, because we never see your payment.
Your garden and your data
Everything lives on your iPhone. There is no account and no cloud, so a new iPhone brings your garden only if you restore it from an iPhone backup (iCloud Backup or a computer). "Delete all data" at the bottom of Sprout's Settings erases your garden after you confirm with "Delete everything", and Sprout starts fresh, like a first launch. Your Pro purchase is not affected, because it belongs to your Apple Account.
Reminders not showing up
- On your iPhone, open Settings, then Notifications, then Sprout, and switch on Allow Notifications.
- In Sprout, open Settings and switch on Habit reminders. If iOS is blocking them, Sprout says "Reminders are off in iOS Settings" and offers an Open Settings button.
- Open the habit, tap Edit habit, switch on Remind me, choose a time and tap Save changes.
Good to know: Sprout stays quiet once you have checked in for the day, and for the rest of a week that is already in full bloom, so a missing reminder can be a good sign.
